Current  – Administration Manager (2013 – 2018)

New – Braamfontein Operations manager/ Company Secretary

For the past 5 years 11 months I had the pleasure of managing eDeaf’s Administration office which include but not limit the responsibility of the following:

  • Pastel  Accounting – managing the company’s financial books and day to day bookkeeping. When I started working for eDeaf all our accounting was done externally. I assisted with implementing the system and manage it to grow together with the company
  • SARS – Reporting and ensure payments are done for Tax/VAT/ PAYE as well as the by-annual reporting for staff IRP5’s
  • Pastel Payroll – I was very fortunate in that eDeaf sent me for a course on Pastel Payroll which intern empowered me as a recognised qualified Payroll Administrator. I Ensure that the administration is done accurately  and that salary payments are done. Manage staff leave as well as that each staff member has a file with all his/her documentation
  • Skills Development Facilitator – As a qualified SDF I am responsible for the annual reporting to the government platforms
    • Work skills plans and the Annual training report
    • Employment Equity
  • General Administration – Many letters, contracts, templates, policies, certificates, suppliers documents , spreadsheets  and even the odd invitation has gone by me. I have a library of saved documents in my folders and almost always ready if you need something
  • “Shopping” – every woman’s dream …. Kitchen/ cleaning products, stationary, workbooks/ manuals, cars and buildings and services such as Hygiene and Fire prevention products and services are only a few things that come to mind rite now
  • Bookings – Interpreters, boardrooms, eDeaf flats, accommodation, flights and other transport
  • For FUN…. I co-ordinate functions, fun days and events. I also dabble in some art on our notice board
  • OH OH OH, I soundboard for Jesse

Out with the OLD and in with the NEW!

I am looking forward to the NEW adventure in 2019.

On the 7th of January 2019, Lorraine Sibanda will join eDeaf as the new Financial Manager. I will be handing some of my responsibilities to her (especially the finances) to free me to do what I do BEST. Administration and Co-ordinating.

I will be handing over to Lorraine and supporting her in her new  position (showing her the ropes) ensuring that she is confident in her role. During this period I will Relocate to a different work space and find my “own” in my new position.

What will I be doing as from 2019?

  1. Free up Judy and Stuart to do what they do best… visit clients, network and be on the road.
    • Ensure clients have all the info – EEA1, ID, Bank etc
    • Ensure clients have all required documentation to claim BBBEE points
